Pregnant women, persons with special impediments or disabilities, victims of trafficking in human beings and unaccompanied minors are for example considered to be persons having special protection requirements. But special protection requirements can also be necessary for other groups of persons, such as LSBTTIQ*-refugees. The following bodies and institutions make provisions for different target groups.

Frühe Hilfen (Early Intervention)

State agency for social services
An initial contact point for persons with disabilities/impediments is the State Agency for Social Services in Neumuenster with its branch offices in Heide, Kiel, Luebeck and Schleswig. These offices are responsible for determining whether refugees display a degree of disability/impedimentation corresponding to German disabilities legislation. For more information, see below:
